Care Instructions
Hand wash only — never dishwasher. Dry upright after washing. Re-apply food-grade mineral oil once a month to maintain the finish and extend the life of your boards.
Care & Maintenance
The Care Guide for Your Acacia Set
- Hand Wash Only: Never put your wood boards in the dishwasher. The high heat and chemicals will cause the wood to warp or crack. Use warm, soapy water and a soft sponge.
- Dry Immediately: After washing, wipe the boards down with a clean towel and stand them upright to air dry completely. This prevents moisture from soaking into the grain.
- Season Periodically: To keep the wood vibrant and water-resistant, apply a food-grade mineral oil or beeswax cream once a month (or whenever the wood looks "thirsty").
- Deep Clean: If you’ve been working with garlic or onions, rub the board with half a lemon and some coarse salt to naturally deodorize and sanitize the surface.
